0.0 Introduction
============================
Why to be a warrior:
1) Its fun to hit stuff
2) Its fun to hit multiple stuff
3) Way to much health
4) Strong attack without using MP
5) Even Stronger Attack with MP
6) Easiest to level from 1-10
Why not to be a warrior:
1) you have to hit stuff so no long range attacks :/
2) Quite hard to level from 10-30 if not done correctly
3) no friggin mp ;_;
4) hard class to use in comparrison with theifs and mages
Why to be a spearman:
1) The spears and polearms look so cool
2) Quite long range
3) Kick butt 3rd class skills
4) Hypberbody give you more hp and mp
5) Most MP out of all the 2nd job warrior classes
Why not to be a spearman:
1) Slow or normal attack before spear booster
2) Hardest of the 3 2nd job warrior classes
3) Least defence of all the warrior classes because they don't have power guard
Why to use spears instead of polearms:
1) Stronger Stab attack than polearms slash attack
*however spear's slash attack is weaker than the polearms stab and slash attack*
2) Fish spear is just cool
3) Better use of 3rd job classes attacks
Why to use polearms:
1) Better Avg Damage
2) Cheaper than buying spears

1.0 Level 1-10 (Beginner)
============================
Being a beginner is quite easy. If you have OCD I suggest doing the beginning
quests.However if you want to power level just skip the first few until Todd's
How-to-Hunt. Try doing every quest after this. Also Note if you finish all the
quests before lvl 9 leave to Victoria immediatley. Then do the Lesson on Job
Advancement. Then train till you are lvl 9 and have 942 exp or more at
"Right Around Lith Harbor." Then take the cab to perion. And meet Dances with
Balrogs which gives you 300 exp and should level you
(put the AP points into your DEX). This is where you should ask to become a
warrior too. If you do this now put your 1 SP into HP recovery
===
1.1 Character Statistics Rolling
===
When you start your character you are gonna want to aim for:
STR any
DEX any
INT 4
LUK 4
This can take up to 5-30 min.
If you don't want to sit around forever I suggest aiming for
(Suggested)
STR any
DEX any
INT 4
LUK 5
This can take up to 10 min.
And if you don't want to wait around for about 10 min aim for
STR any
DEX any
INT 5
LUK 5
===
1.2 AP Distribution
===
The first thing you are going to do is get your DEX up to 15 so put all your
Ability Points into Dex until then.
Then put all your AP into Strength until Level 9
Then at Level 10 put the 5 Ability Points into Dex so you should have 20 dex
Final Ability Point Distribution at lvl 10:
STR 40(41,42)
DEX 20
INT 4/5
LUK 4/5
===
1.3 SP Distribution
===
Put all your SP into Three Snails Then into Nimble Feet.
As a Warrior you don't have any long range attacks so Three Snails is sometimes
useful even at later levels.
Nimble feet is good for traveling or just running away.
Recovery is quite useless considering the amount of HP warriors have later.

1-(5-8) Snail Hunting Ground 3
(7-8)-10 Field East of Amherst
(http://www.hidden-street.net/maps/miamherst.php#fieldeastofamherst)
===
1.6 Fighting Techniques
===
Just hack and slash at the snails but you need one for the Orange Mushrooms.
Do this in Field East of Amherst
There are 4 ways to kill an orange mushroom.
1) Hold attack (loose hp, use pots)
2) Tap attack at a steady pace
(possible to loose hp due to other monsters in the area)
3) Cliff cornering
Hit the mushroom, Run and jump to and edge and wait about an 1 1/2 mushroom
lengths away from the ledge.
Then when the Mushroom jumps onto the ledge just hold the attack button.
If you wait at a ledge where there are no other monsters and hope that
another mushroom doesn't come to attack you. you should not loose any hp.
4) Platform Sniping
There are two platforms in Field East of Amherst
(http://www.hidden-street.net/maps/miamherst.php#fieldeastofamherst)
where you can platform snipe orange mushrooms.
They are the two small platforms on top. The top of the map should look like
below
__ ------------ --- ------------ --- _____
1^ 2^ 1^ 2^
Platforms 2 are the two small platforms you snipe from.
Hit the orand mushrooms on platforms 1 and then run to either platform 2 then
just hit them from the platform.
The mushrooms can't jump the gap so just hold attack and hit away.
These are the basic techniques of fighting that you should use with most
monsters. General principle is hit the monster without getting hit.
============================
2.0 Level 10-30 (Warrior)
============================
After talking with dances with balrogs go down to the equipment store and buy
your first spear, "Spear"(YAY). Now you can level anyway you like as a warrior.
you can use axes, blunt weapons, swords, whatever. Just get to lvl 30.
However I suggest using spears from level 10-30 becauseyou need to get used
to the attack area, attack range, and attack speed.
These are a little hard to get used to but it is deffinitely worth it.
===
2.1 AP Distribution
===
If you have followed this guide you should have currently:
STR 40(41,42)
DEX 20
INT 4/5
LUK 4/5
Now Warriors are all about power so we are going to put as little into Dex
possible. To make the job advance ment you need to have 60 dex. So put all your
AP points into Strength till you have 80(81,82) then all your Points into
Dexterity until it hits 60.
One problem with this build though is that you can't PQ well in kerning until
Level 26.
If you followed the guide distribute like so.
Level AP Total AP
===== == ==========
10 DEX +5 20 DEX
11 STR +5 45 STR
12 STR +5 50 STR
13 STR +5 55 STR
14 STR +5 60 STR
15 STR +5 65 STR
16 STR +5 70 STR
17 STR +5 75 STR
18 STR +5 80 STR
19 STR +5 85 STR
20 STR +5 90 STR
21 STR +5 95 STR
22 STR +5 100 STR
23 DEX +5 25 DEX
24 DEX +5 30 DEX
25 DEX +5 35 DEX
26 DEX +5 40 DEX
27 DEX +5 45 DEX
28 DEX +5 50 DEX
29 DEX +5 55 DEX
30 DEX +5 60 DEX
Final Ability Point Distribution should be
STR 100-102
DEX 60
INT 4/5
LUK 4/5
===
2.2 SP Distribution
===
In this build we max out MAX HP Increase so we have the most health possible.
It it pointless to put 1 into power strike because its only +14% damage and not
worth the MP. Once we Max HP Increase we Max Slash Blast first as it is more
useful because you can hit more and kill more.
Level SP/Skill
===== ========
10 1 HP Recovery
11 3 HP Recovery
12 1 HP Recovery, 2 MAX HP Increase
13 3 MAX HP Increase
14 3 MAX HP Increase
15 2 MAX HP Increase (MAXED), 1 Endure
16 1 Power Strike, 2 Slash Blast
17 3 Slash Blast
18 3 Slash Blast
19 3 Slash Blast
20 3 Slash Blast
21 3 Slash Blast
22 3 Slash Blast (MAXED)
23 3 Power Strike
24 3 Power Strike
25 3 Power Strike
26 3 Power Strike
27 3 Power Strike
28 3 Power Strike
29 1 Power Strike (MAXED), 2 Use on anything (Endure, HP Recovery)
30 3 Use on anything (Endure, Iron Body, HP Recovery)
As for those last 5 SP points I suggest putting those last 5 to get endure,
useful when there are no places to sit. It is pointless to put it into
HP recovery because of the new item, Beach chair(+50 HP every 10 seconds),
unless you are also working on endure. In the face of the new item
pain reliever(+30 Weapon Def for 30 min, 1200 meso at omega sector)
which actually conflicts with the use of iron body. So you have two choices.
The options below will decide what happens to your character at level 60
and above.
(D) If you want more DEFENCE +3 to endure +2 to Iron Body.
(RO) If you want more RECOVERY (AND OFFENCE(Level 60+)) +5 to Endure
(DO) If you want more DEFENCE (AND OFFENCE(Level 60+)) +5 to Endure.
(DR) If you want more DEFENCE (AND RECOVERY(Level 60+)) +5 to Endure.

2.4 Equipment
===
Weapons:
10-15 Spear
15-20 Fork on a Stick
20-30(35) Fish Spear
(This was my second character so I bought a +7 above avg Fish Spear so it
had 52 attack. Definitley worth what it costs(720k).)
Armors:
If you rather have Defence over offence then just get the appropriate helm for
each level. If you rather have Offence over Defence then get the
Blue Bamboo Hat as soon as possible and scroll it, use till level 80
It is the only helm with +3 Strength until Level 80. Though I suggest switching
to another helm around Level 50 cause you are gonna need the defence. I suggest
sticking with two piece armor sets over overalls as they give more defence. Try
getting those with +STR. Boots and gloves you can get from quests.
As for earings stick wih the green leaf earings. +50 MP is VERY useful.

69 SP 3 +3 (Booster, Endure, HP Recovery, Iron Will/Wall, Iron Body)
70 SP 3 +3 (Booster, Endure, HP Recovery, Iron Will/Wall, Iron Body)
In the beginning we only go up to 19. in spear master because the last mastery
is only +1 accuracy. If you want the +1 accuracy that is fine then only put 5
into booster. +1 accuracy is equivanlent to 1-2 dex. Max Final attack then I
would max out mastery. Hyperbody is very useful so I would max that. Now after
this point there are many options as they depend on how you play.
You have 32 points to spend.
(D) If you want more DEFENCE max Iron body and Iron Will.
ONLY DO THIS OPTION IF YOU WORKED ON IRON BODY BEFORE!!!!
However Booster will have to be pressed every 50 seconds.
(RD) If you want more RECOVERY AND OFFENCE Max Endure
then Hp Recovery then Booster.
(DO) If you want more DEFENCE AND OFFENCE Max Booster
then Iron Will and use pain relievers.
(DR) If you want more DEFENCE AND RECOVERY Max Iron Will
then Endure then Hp Recovery and use pain relievers.
However Booster will have to be pressed every 50 seconds.
To decide what to choose above follow the chart below
A = Hate pressing booster and don't want to waste hp/mp
B = Don't mine pressing booster and don't mind wasting hp/mp
X = You dislike using pots and rather heal on rope
or just want to heal on ropes faster.
Y = Don't mind using lots of pots or waiting long time to heal on ropes.
|| A || B
------------------ O = Offence
X || RO || DR
------------------ D = Deffence
Y || DO || D
------------------ R = Recovery
